Our Kitchen Project Process
1. Demolition (week 1): We will take 1-3 days to do demolition on your kitchen. This includes removing old cabinets, countertops, appliances, any necessary walls and soffits, built-in pantries, and flooring/baseboards throughout the home as needed.
2. Rough-ins (week 1): It takes us 1-4 days to do necessary framing, installing a header for any load-bearing walls, routing gas and electrical, installing windows/doors, and routing or re-routing (if unexpected but necessary re-routes were found in walls/soffits) any plumbing, supplies, returns, or electrical.
3. Drywall (week 2): We will take 3-6 days to hang, mud, sand, and texture match (if needed) drywall.
4. Painting (week 3): Painting the kitchen (and other areas if needed) walls and ceiling will take us 2-3 days.
5. Flooring (week 3/4): If flooring is hardwood or tile, it will go in before cabinetry. If flooring is LVP, it will be installed after cabinetry. Flooring will take 2-4 days.
6. Cabinetry (week 3/4): Cabinetry installation will take 1-4 days, depending on the size of the project. Cabinetry hardware will also be installed (usually at a later date). Second payment is collected.
7. Countertops (week 5): You would have already selected the countertops that you want with our countertop provider. At this point, they would be templated and installed with a 1-week turnaround.
8. Backsplash and Connections (week 6/7): After countertops, your backsplash would be installed and your appliances and plumbing connected.
9. Punch list for Completion (week 6/7): Your project is not complete until any punch-list items are resolved. Final payment is collected.
